Client was charged with class A, Assault Causes Bodily Injury and faced up to a year in county jail and up to a $4000 fine. At the time of the offense, client was on parole from prison for a felony. Complaining witness and a dis-interested third-party said that our client threw the victim to the ground and began kicking her. Client had four prior felony convictions. Client pled to a $500 fine and time served.
